Part Two (Feb 07) - ?
Phase One
Power Girl, Hourman and Doctor Fate were attacked by the DEO (disguised as Science Police and SCU), but breezed through the police ranks like the seasoned professionals they are, and convinced Mr Bones of their innocence. The game was over almost before Hourman's Miraclo could take full effect.
Superboy (enjoying time with his faithful hound Krypto) stuck in the JLA Watchtower (banned from the Titans tower for a bit after an annoyed starfire pushed him through a wall, but that is another story) with one of Superman's Robots keeping an eye on him.
Imagine his shock when a bunch of Kree and a big purple robot appear and try to abduct him!!! He sprang into action, but is quickly based by the big purple robot, whilst his "Guardian" (annoyed at having to put up with Krypto peeing on him.. AGAIN) runs straight for the advicate to plead HIS case. Krypto comes to his masters aid and delays the big purple robot long enough for Superboy to make it too the advicate and get out, but the faithful hound was carried off by said big purple robot. The superman robot (obviously faulty, if you hadn't guessed by now, must be kryptonian dog pee that does it) fails to convince his advicate to the point where he shuts down!
The game was against Chris, he won 15 vs 10 (Half point for the superman robot that pushed to death)
Phase Two
The saucy shield soldiers and the succulent sentinal swiftly swagger sexily into the avengers mansion (while the avengers advicate, Nick Fury watched them on big TV screens sitting in a comfy chair in the middle of the mansion). Aside from a the scarlet witch, the avengers quickly escaped, leaving the poor scarlet witch to limp to nick (after being continually grabbed and dropped by the succulent sentinal) to plead her case, finally she got free.
Ralph won one that one 30 Vs 0
SHIELD team lead by Nightwing trying to take down the Titans. My Sentinel did pretty well, capturing both Kyle Rayner (Rookie GL form, not the LE!) and Raven at various points during the match, but constantly the Titans were able to free their comrades. I ended them game on -3 points for accidentally incaping Starfire to death. (Oops).
Mary Marvel smashed through the walls of the mall to outmanoeuvre the police! Though Booster Gold died though as his awful attack values wouldn't let him convince Cameron Chase of his innocence ...
Phase Three
Superboy, Krypto (released from super pound) and a new Superman Robot in the Mall. Shopping for engines as it turned out, 2 (one carried by the robot, the other by krypto) when they ran into the super buddies. Now, super boy being a young lad, tries it on with Mary, after that things got a bit hairy including Booster Gold getting wacked by a desk, Ice getting an engine block in the face, Mary getting an engine block in the face (from the robot, not superboy) and other general nastiness. In the end Kypto and the robot came out virtually unscratched, but Superboy barely scrapped through after getting slapped in the face by Mary.
That one was against Richard Sands, I won 30 vs 0, I've not seen such bad luck in a long time, almost no hits, and i rarely missed. A fun game, pity about the bad luck.
Superbuddies would have liked to have taken down at least one of them, only Probability Control wasn't working right, and the only time it altered an attack result was when it turned Superman Robot's hit on Mary into a critical hit!
JSAers made a sterling (but eventually futile) attempt to take down X-factor. Power Girl's quake* made good in-roads to the sea of Multiple Men, and Doc Fate's 17 Defense + ESD made the mutants work for their victory, but in the end, it was not to be.
Finale
Ralph managed to win having designed the scenario which was neat going so winner was awarded to Corey.
Thanks to Ralph for scenario design this month (really liked it in principle, but needs tweaking as so many campaign scenarios in the past have, nice to know it's not just me it happens to!) And welcome to Richard Sands who joined the campaign with his cool Superbuddies team.

Part One (Jan 07) - There ought to be clones
Various criminal organisations have been cloning pwerful villains and
trying to unleash them on the world, while the heroes sought to stop
them. Villain teams consisted of a half-dozen themed generics, led
by one named character.
In round one, the Titans were unable to prevent the H.I.V.E.
releasing a clone of Ares, and Superboy and Krypto were helpless to
prevent Intergang and Lex Luthor releasing Brainiac. However the
Justice Society fought Kobra and his Fanatics to a standstill (mostly
due to Star-spangled Kid's amazing run of Supersenses rolls), and the
clone of Black Adam remained bound.
In round 2, Batman went up against R'as Al-ghul and his Hand Ninjas
(making a universe-jumping guest appearance) but was unable to
prevent the release of Blockbuster. X-factor fought the Morlocks
(not Crimson Cowl, Maggie Walshe and Norman Osbourn in the end) over
control of a Nimrod unit, successfully stonewalling them. Meanwhile
Thor and Captain America took on Amin Zola and his Hydra minions, but
were unable to prevent the release of Loki. [Top tip: if you wish to
try out this scenario, don't play on the space map... if you do the
heroes *cannot* win].
In the final round of Hero v Hero action, Batman trounced the JSA,
Superboy pummelled the Titans and X-factor and the Avengers squared
off (I don't remember who won).
Overall winner: Pete's Superman team (consisting of R Superboy and U
Krypto). With Chris getting fellowship for helping a new player to
beat him.

December 2006
At the finale of the campaign for 2006, three teams of heroes
battled three teams of villains in two different sectors of space.
They fought over dimensional rifts caused by the Crisis Shards, which
linked them to a ragnarok style battle of the gods in the fabled
House of Crisis ... whoever controlled the most rifts was able to
affect the battle of the gods (that is to say give them three
actions).
It started poorly, with three consecutive actions going to the
villains, allowing Thanos a couple of early hits on Ganthet, but then
the battle began to swing back again, as the heroes in the space
sectors were able to dominate a bit more. In the battle of the gods,
this allowed Captain Marvel (aka Shazam!) to take down Thanos,
although this was to cost him later when Paralax and Trigon's
Daughter ganged up on him.
When time was eventually called on ragnarok, the heroes had just
managed to eek a victory, although if Orion had one less click of
life on his dial it would have gone the other way.
So, the world is safe thanks to our heroes, and players went home
satisfied (I hope) with their various spot prizes (awarded for such
things as "First to get knock back", "First to grab a a rift
square", "Being called Ralph" and so forth).
